MEMORIES ARE
TIMELESS TREASURES
OF THE HEART

The Constantia Heritage and Education Project was formed to ensure that the stories of the people who once lived in the valley are not lost with the passing of time.

CHEP seeks to ensure that stories are preserved so that they can be experienced by those who do not know. It is important that the lives of those who worked the land, built the mosques, churches and schools are not erased off the landscape, in the same way that the homes which housed people who build them have been.

We aim to ensure that we build and maintain an honest and meaningful conversation with current community members, so that future generations may view each other as fellow citizens and so that we may find ways of healing our fractured past

Today we are building on initiatives taken by others before us, as we seek to build for a future where the dignity of each person matters and is celebrated.

“little by little becomes a lot”

Thank you for becoming a part of this initiative and helping us reach the goal and vision of what we stand for.
